Sheet Pan Lemon Herb Salmon with Asparagus
The ultimate healthy, minimal-cleanup meal that delivers big flavor.
Ingredients
4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
1 lemon, thinly sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp dried Italian herbs (or a mix of dried thyme, oregano, and rosemary)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 400∘F (200∘C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Season Veggies: Toss the asparagus with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, pepper, and a pinch of garlic powder. Spread them evenly on one side of the baking sheet.
Season Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the other side of the sheet. Drizzle with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Sprinkle the tops with the dried Italian herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add Lemon: Place one or two thin slices of lemon on top of each salmon fillet.
Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes. The exact time depends on the thickness of your salmon. It's done when the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Serve: Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
